Akshaya Institute of Technology

The Institute was established in the year 2009 with an intake of 360 students. The institute has excellent infrastructure spread over 15 acres, well qualified and experienced faculty members and fully equipped laboratories. Additional coaching is given on tough subjects. The proctorial system is effective where the teachers council the students and guide them towards academic excellence. The progress of the students is updated to the parents on a regular basis. The Institute has exclusive TRAINING AND PLACEMENT DEPARTMENT headed by a placement officer. Each department has a placement coordinator to help the training and placement process. All the first and second year students are trained on English communication and public speaking skills. All the students from second year to final year are trained on aptitude and analytical skills required to efficiently face the written test and interviews conducted by the recruiting companies. The interested students are also trained on foreign language learning and other tests required to take up higher studies in foreign countries.
As a result large number of students passes with high percentage of marks in the university examinations. Good number of reputed companies visits the Institute for campus placement and all eligible students are placed in reputed companies during the campus placement drives conducted in the Institute.
From the academic year 2022-23 the Institute is starting two new courses on agriculture – Agriculture Engineering and Smart Agritech. Smart Agritech is the first of its kind in Karnataka with great potential for placement in multinational companies and also for entrepreneurship.
