DON BOSCO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is managed by Wayanamac Education Trust The Trust was establishes in 1999, founded by Sri. B. Bylappa, a Philanthropist, Educationist, Technocrat and a leading Industrialist. All the activities of the institution are carried out with active participation and support of Sri. P. B. Manjunath - Vice President, and Sri. Raghav Bylappa - Secretary.

DON BOSCO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY established in 2001,Is imparting quality education in professional courses. The aim of the Institute is to bring out the best engineering talents in the country. The programs are Approved by AICTE and affiliated to VTU.

DBIT is located in a sprawling lush green campus Kumbalagodu on Bangalore – Mysore Highway.
